    All are welcome at our monthly potluck.  


    January 13th at noon we will have a potluck to warm up.  Bring your favorite cold weather dish!

  • Trivia & Tacos

    Bring your team or just yourself for a night of trivia on Thursday, January 15th at 6:00 pm.  

    Tacos are $3 each and Trivia is $2 per person.  We would love to have you join us!

  • Diamond Painting

    On the first and third (and 5th) Fridays of each month you can join us for a relaxing morning of diamond painting.

    We have projects for purchase (most ranging from $1 to $5) and all are welcome!

    Come on by, there is no preregistration necessary.

  • Bingo & Birthday Party

    Join us for FREE Bingo at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 21st.  


    At 11:30 am we will serve a delicious lunch.  All are welcome to join us, but please let us know you are coming by calling 815-734-6335.

  • Jam Session

    Join us for a Jam Session with local muscians on Wednesday, January 28th.  The music will begin at 10:30 am, and lunch for $8 each will be served at noon.  All are welcome, but please let us know you are coming by calling 815-734-6335 or signing up at The Center!

  • Book Club

    Join us on Monday, February 2nd.  For this discussion we are reading The House in the Cerulean Sea, and it is available to pick up from the Mt. Morris Public Library.

  • Community Breakfast with The Mayor!

    Every Wednesday from 8:00-10:00 am we serve biscuits and gravy at The Center!  

    Half Order - $2.00

    Full Order - $3.50

    Coffee - $.50


    On the first Wednesday of the month we also add pancakes for $1.00 each.  Also, on the first Wednesday the Mayor (or someone else from the Village) joins us to tell us what is going on in Mt. Morris.


    All are welcome, and we hope you can join us for a morning soon!

  • Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group

    We have a support group for the caregivers of people with Alzheimer's and dementia.  All are welcome to stop by for support and helpful information on the first Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm.  You can also bring your loved one with you to enjoy conversation or a card game with Melissa while you meet.

  • Euchre Tournament

    Join us for a free Euchre Tournament on Thursday, January 12th at 6 pm. 

    Bring a snack to share if you want to, and be ready for fun!

    There will be prizes given out at the end.

  • Walk & Stretch Class

    Highland Community College sponsors this fitness class at The Center!  


    We meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (except holidays) at 9:00 am.  The class lasts one hour, and everyone works out at their own level.  Come and try the class anytime!


    This class costs $50.00 for 10 weeks or 30 classes.  Members of The Center get a 10% discount.

Established in 1976, the Mt Morris Senior and Community Center is committed to promoting the general welfare and fostering the development of programs and services for older adults and the community.
